    The Tin Toy Gallery is owned by Doug Prendeville and offers consulting and the buying and selling of fine antique toys, trains, figures, boats and autos. 

          Doug Prendeville is a second generation collector and dealer in the antique toy and trains. He has provided consulting to auction houses as well as private collectors. Having grown up in the business he has a vast knowledge in the world of antique tin toys and has bought and sold some of the finest tin toys, trains, boats, figures, and autos. He enjoys helping build fine collections of tin toys for his clients.

Absolutely stunning wind-up toy on display with the original box!!!!! At The Met in New York.  Winter 2019-2020 special exhibit “Making Marvels”. A nice early erector set no. 0 with 1915 patent marked on the box including original instructions and envelop. Circa 1902 Marklin battleship H.M.S.  Albion with a clockwork mechanism. Circa 1905 Marklin for the American market blue P.R.R. Passenger car. Circa 1906 Marklin track rails car in near mint condition. Circa 1906 Marklin for the American market U.S Mail baggage car in near mint condition. This car was found with a layout in Beverly Hills Ca. in the 1960’s take a look close at the black and white photo the car is under the rare crane. This ite Circa 1906 Marklin P.R.R. Cattle car. This another item found in Beverly Hills Ca. in the 1960’s with intriguing photo of the layout with so many rare items that were in pristine condition. Have a look at the previous posts. Attending the Krefeld, Germany outdoor toy show today. Circa 1906 Marklin Schiltz beer car in near mint condition. This car was found in an estate sale in Beverly Hills Ca. in the 1960’s.  More pictures of the layout are in a previous post. Circa 1906 Marklin red P.R.R caboose with original figure and stove in near mint condition.
